When your car leaves the factory, headlight lenses have a clear UV-protective coating on top of the polycarbonate plastic. That coating is what keeps them crystal clear.
Over 5 to 10 years, sun exposure breaks down that coating. Without it, the polycarbonate underneath oxidises and turns yellow, cloudy, or hazy. No amount of cleaning will fix it, because the damage is in the material itself.
We sand away the oxidised layer with a progressive sequence of wet-sanding grits. That takes off the damage without touching the healthy lens underneath. Then we machine-polish the surface back to optical clarity.
The final step is the most important: a professional-grade UV-resistant polymer sealant, the same type used in factory production. This restores the UV barrier that was lost.
Clear lenses let more light through, so you see further at night. And the car looks years newer.
And because the UV protection is back in place, your headlights won't yellow again in a few months: they'll stay clear for 3 to 5 years.
